| I have a similar model- the Gazelle Edge- the only difference is that mine doesn't have the thumb pulse thing. My husband and I have loved using this machine. It provides a wonderful, aerobic but low-impact workout. You do have to "propel" it yourself so it only works as hard as you do- but when you follow the simple workout tips and instructions that come with it, it really is effective and easy to use. There are also workout tapes available that are for use with this machine. I appreciate how easily it folds up for storage and it takes up very little space. It has helped us to get back in "workout mode" and on our way back to being in shape! | |

| If you use this like the video shows you it can really work up a great sweat. Leaning forward slightly will also increase your arm strength. Get up to speed and stay there and it does the job, both on the heart rate and weight loss. The only drawback was the heel guards are glued on and kept coming off! I just got some industrial glue for a couple of dollars and that cured it permanantly! Does not take up much room and a good value that will do the job. | |

| The reviewer who said you have to put some effort into it is right - there's no resistance on this machine so you have to push yourself to go harder and faster, but it does work. It's like a low impact version of a treadmill. I use mine everyday and it gets me into my target heart rate every time. And I love that it folds flat against the wall when I'm done. | |

| The machine was easy to put together with a screwdriver and the tools they provided. It came with an instructional DVD that shows you how to use the machine which was helpful. Defintely wear good sneakers as it really works your legs. My first time exsercising in a long time I was able to do about 30 mins. | |

| i would say this is one of the WORST! products out there for fitness, its has no affect what so ever on the body, there is no resistance, no increases in levels, and no speed, so really your going at your own pace. I would suggest buying something else that will make a difference in your apprearence. | |

| This does not work if you are trying to lose weight. It does not get your heart pumping and does not make you sweat, I'm not sure what this product is used for. | |

| Wanted to replace a worn out ski machine with this. Was very disappointed in the gazelle. Very ineffective workout, very uncomfortable to legs. | |
