Five Ten Dome Hiking Shoes-Green-12 Review:

Reviews:

My wife and I both got these for trail running and hiking. For her these were to replace a 6 y.o. pair of 5/10s that she wore in to the ground. She had high expectations. These were my second pair as well, I have a pair of 5/10 SARs, but with a hard toe box and neoprene ankle cuffs, my old ones are not runners. We wore these for San Gorgonio, San Jacinto, and Mount Whitney... no troubles at all with these shoes. The tread pattern and the sole material make for some serious grip... no slip at all... These are a bit bulky... by that I mean the material all the way around the shoe is sturdy and well built. After 8 months of trail running, there is a scuff on one shoe where the shoes rub... no other shoe has ever rubbed like that, maybe it is the extra thickness of the shoes. And one of the toe protection tabs came loose a little bit, maybe two months ago, but hasn't worked itself free any more. They have held up extremely well, they fit to size, and are well padded in the tongue. Fantastic shoelaces, supportive insoles, and rugged. A+, well done 5/10.
