When you look at the Women's Five Ten Blackwing, think Dragon with a Velcro closure. The padded tongue has a super-soft, fleecy microfiber lining. It wicks sweat and gives the top of your foot support and comfort, no matter the angle. The Blackwing fits like a glove, but slides on easily. The team shoe heel cup is extra snug and the Mystique outsole is specifically designed for ultimate friction on overhanging rock. The Blackwing is Five Ten's high performance competition shoe specifically designed for women.
Rock/Creek, Five Ten and Triple Crown Bouldering Series partner together to offer a special deal on the premire of the new Blackwing.
Ready for big rock adventures or sport climbing, the Five-Ten Blackwing women's climbing shoes feature sticky outsoles for great grip and a soft, wicking lining for lasting comfort.

I ordered these in both a 7.5 and 8 based on other reviews.
I wear a 7.5 street size. My La Sportiva Muiras are a size 37. I have a wider foot at the toes, nothing ridiculous. (For reference - Scarpa rockettes in sizes 37.5 did not fit my higher volume foot.
I mostly boulder, often indoors at anywhere from a V2-V7 in plastic land. I prefer a more down turned shoe for overhang problems.
These shoes run small, I tried for a while to cram my feet into the 7.5 (my slightly larger foot was not having it) I could get them in, but walking was close to impossible and the material being synthetic, likely wont stretch enough. The 8, I was hesitant to keep, since on one foot, my heel felt slippy.
I brought 'em to the gym and realized that the 8 had to be the right size since I rip them off my feet after a problem. They are relatively comfortable - one hot spot at my big toe, and a pocket in the heel of the other foot. The tongue padding is really nice. The aggressive toe has been helpful.
I am really hoping that these hold their shape and stay together.
Great shoe, very sensitive. Allows for precise foot work. Good for steep climbing.
But what's with 5.10 and their heels? The heel is better than previous 5.10 Anasazi shoes. But there is still a small air pocket at the tip of the heel.
Overall, the shoe is great.
