My Sixth pair of Five Ten Sirens

I've been buying five ten sirens since I started climbing four years ago. They tend to fit my foot best (I have a wider upper foot), and they're a great all around climbing shoe. Not a beginner shoe, but not super aggressive and comfortable to wear for general rope climbing or bouldering.

They tend to get extra slimy/sweaty inside, more so than other climbing shoes I've tried, and so tend to get a little smellier. The reason I've had to replace mine occasionally (every 6-12 months, climbing 2-3 times a week), is that I tend to wear through the rubber on the toe in the one spot I use most often on the wall and where I occasionally drag my toe.

If these shoes fit you well and you're looking for a great all-around mid-level shoe, I would definitely recommend these to beginners and more experienced climbers alike.

Comfortable, well-fitting shoes

This was the first pair of climbing shoes I bought. Definitely more comfortable than the rental shoes. The guy at EMS was very helpful. I tried on several pairs of shoes. The other pairs didn't fit my foot well, or had a lot of "hot spots." These shoes fit my feet really well. The only issue was that I had to go up a full size from what I usually wear.

Old trusty

This is my second pair of Sirens, and they feel just as good as always! Fit perfect for my foot (narrow) and hug my heel (unlike any La Sportiva women's boulder shoe). Not the most aggressive shoe but definitely a good performer for sport routes and bouldering.

finally one that fits!

Thanks to the staff person who knew how to fit rock shoes. It is not easy and it takes a lot of patience!
