My son has flat feet and so we need a wide shoe. Thankfully, this shoe comes in wide. It is really hard for me to put my son's feet in man-made shoes, especially dress shoes that tend to be stiff and uncomfortable, so even though these are little more expensive, it is a good investment. The inner footbed is soft and comfortable, especially on the heel and arch areas. Overall, very pleased.
