If you plan on crushing the terrain park this winter, you're going to need some serious park-specific equipment to get the job done. Most park-specific gear is designed for men, but you don't have to stoop to wearing too-big bindings with too-high highbacks and not enough flex. Flux designed the GL from the ground up for women who already know their way around the mountain and want to focus on booters, boxes, and rails.
The GL starts with Flux' nylon Vogue baseplate. This fiberglass-reinforced nylon baseplate features urethane damping. The EVA footbed absorbs shock, and adjustable heel- and toe-ramps allow you to customize the binding's fit and feel. Tool-less hardware makes on-hill adjustments a snap. The lightweight, responsive Women's Ultima highback provides a seamless fit and women-specific flex pattern for a more natural feel. The lower highback accommodates a woman's calf muscle, which is positioned lower on the leg than a man's. Forward lean is adjusted at the forward contact points for a gapless fit in the heelcup at any adjustment. The F-Tech 3D-molded, cushioned ankle strap works with the highback to provide a perfect 360-degree wrap to eliminate hot spots and pressure points. The FTM monocoque toe straps use a one-piece design for maintenance-free riding.
