Picked these babies up for $34 incase a friend needed to borrow a pair of boots or I needed a back up. I also am generally one that rides pretty STIFF boots and these are extremely SOFT. Walking in them is very comfortable, but it seems like they still provide enough support to be responsive. I definitely wouldn't wear them backcountry snowboarding or kicking through trees, but they will be fun to play around in at the park because they are so soft. I'm curious if I will have issues pairing them with my relatively stiff bindings and if pressure points will result, because strapping in on the floor it felt like there might be some. Either way, if you're just starting out or if you're someone looking for a pair of boots just to have on hand as a back up, what do you really have to lose at $34 bucks a pop? I normally wear a size 8.5 street shoe and got these in an 8. I could have done a 7.5 but am happy with the way the 8's fit. Overall the boot materials and makeup seem relatively good quality, much to my surprise. They ARE kinda ugly, though!
