Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard -

What happens when the worlds best park board sets the bar higher. Will thats exactly what happened to The Holy Moly II this year. Featuring Grand Pops, which was introduced in the Honey Pot last year, and it prevailed. Grand Pops increases the pop zones by flatting out the contact points just inside the nose and tail. This creates a larger platform for a much bigger ollie. Added to the Holy Moly II are Car Bombs Carbon Booms which are solid carbon inlayed into the tip and tail for even more snap and boom. Oh but the ollie isn't done there, with a carbon fiber blend laminate the Holy Moly II will win every single ollie contest around. Once again the engineers at Forum have out done themselves.

Frame:

  • Car Bomb Carbon Booms-Solid carbon space frame inlays are positioned where critical ollie power is generated
  • Car Bomb Carbon Booms precisely machined carbon space-frame inlays act as springs providing direct response with ollie height

Manufactured:

  • Made in Austria

Features:

  • Grand Pops camber has exaggerated pop zones that dramatically increase the surface inside the contact points at the nose and tail
  • Flex rating of 5 denotes a medium-to-stiff flex
  • Ultralight, strong and poppy core with beech inlays to increase underfoot stability and add more spring
  • Really Light Core-The lightest, strongest, and poppiest core in the arsenal
  • Stable low-height camber
  • US shipments only
  • Really Fast base is pre-injected with formulated wax for extra speed
  • Twin shape
  • Light Triax with Carbon Laminates-thin strips of carbon fiber, this lay-up configuration adds extra spring to ollies and increased tip-to-tail response
  • Tip and tail of wood core shaved to save weight, add float and increase spin speed

Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard - Men's:   Things can get tricky when you create the best park board ever and still make it affordable, and when you realize you did it, thatÕs when your snowboarding will get extra tricky. Pure Pop, True Solid Stability. Introduced in The Honeypot last season, Grand Pops has greatly exaggerated the pop zones that dramatically increase the surface area just inside the contact points at the nose and tail. These ultra-aggressive pop zones create an even larger platform to ollie from. When combined with the stability of a lower camber height between the feet, they deliver bigger, more epic ollie's.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hi Dave here. I just got done riding the 2013 Forum Holy Moly 2. It's a redesigned version of their Holy Moly which is an upper level park deck. I'm going to give it 3.5 stars. It's a little stiffer than I'd want for a park deck, although it does have some give through the tip and the tail. Where it does excel it does have really good edge hold and it's stable at higher speeds even though it's got a lively it's not very damp, you feel everything underfoot. You dont need to work about the board washing out or giving out on you. So it's still a freestyle board but it seems more suited for like an all mountain type freestyle than someone who is just going to go to the park and hit handrails all day. So again overall 3.5 stars. Pretty good deck but I think I'd want it a little bit more flex in a park deck for me.

Big Air board

So this is a really awesome board for what its made for, keep that in mind. This board really is for a high caliber snowboarder that wants to be able to really get in the air at any time. that wasnt quite the board i was looking for though. This board is too stiff for my taste, but that adds to its ability to be able to pop you up with big ollies. This board rides really smooth and stable. But if you want a park board with flex for butters and jibs, then this is not the one for you

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hey I'm Ian. I just got done riding the 2013 Forum Holy Moly 2 in a 155. I give this board 4 out of 5 stars. Just a super great advanced freestyle based board. It has the Grandpops to it so it's actually pretty much almost close to what a cambered board is, it's almost flat underneath the feet. Super poppy great in the freestyle aspect took it over some jumps. Good on a few boxes. Can hold really well at high stable speed and is just overall a great solid board.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hi this is Steve again. I just got back with the Forum Holy Moly 2. A really nice surprise. This board hold extremely well. Rides all over the mountain. Very very grippy edges it is just a real delight to carve on this board even though it's really more of a park all mountain board. The intermediate to low advanced could ride maybe even less that. All in all a very fun board to ride. I give it 4 out of 5.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hi it's Fidel. I just got done riding Forums Holy Moly 2 in a 158 for 2013. Really enjoyed it. Intermediate to advanced riders would actually really like this board. Great all mountain board. I did not like it when you tried to put the throttle down. I felt a little bit sketchy but again that's the 158. I would prefer this board in a little bit longer size. Overall for the right sized person 4 out of 5 stars. It's great.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

I'm Steve, I just got done riding the Forum Holy Moly. I'm going to give this board 5 out of 5 stars for sure. It held a great line with all I threw at it not matter what, on hardpack no matter what the speed was the board actually held and gripped and made nice rounded turns. 5 out of 5 for an all mountain aggressive rider or basically anybody that's going to ride all mountain.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hi Ben here with the 2013 Forum Holy Moly 2. I'm going to give this board 4.5 out of 5. With the core pops in this snowboard it's also like a traditional cambered snowboard, not quite there. Riding it for the first time it's really hard to tell when you're on your tow when your heel edge is coming up off the snow but overall super awesome park snowboard, super poppy and super easy to ride.

2013 Forum Holy Moly II Snowboard Review

Hi I'm Rob, I just got off the Forum Holy Molly. I gave this board 5/5 stars. A great ride, super stable at higher speeds. Held an edge very well at higher speeds. Any kind of a turn, really long powerful turns, short quick turns. Very fast edge to edge, super smooth ride. I recommend this board for any solid intermediate to advanced level rider.
