  • Baseplate 7% Glass-Fiber: New for 2008, this baseplate ensures an ultra smooth ride with plenty of dampening making it an ideal choice for entry level or less aggressive rider or advanced riders who prefer more flex in their set-up.
  • Flex: 4
  • HeelFrame/ highback : Live Hinge

  • Series Uniform: Accommodates both entry level riders who want an affordable, forgiving structure, as well as accomplished freestyle riders who desire a streamlined binding that is flexible yet strong. We built this system from the inside-out according to our concentrix design directive which maximizes performance by eliminating excess material to deliver a streamlined boot-to-binding fit.
  • Toe Strap No Crap: Updated version of our No Crap toe strap which lets riders choose between a traditional toe strap on top of the boot, and a capped strap around the toe box. With its ease of use, riders can quickly change it up throughout the day to vary their riding experience from one run to the next.

Buckle up the Forum Men’s Recon Snowboard Binding and make moves in the park. This flexible freestyle binding features a customizable toe strap, a rotatable lightweight highback, and impact-dampening EVA in the baseplate and highback. You won’t have to use a tool to adjust your highback with lots of forward lean like the pros, and the same goes for the the No Crap toe strap when you want to adjust it to fit over your boot’s toe box to get the Baltimore-style feel. Forum’s Misty ankle strap anatomically fits to the contours of your boot and features compression-molded EVA for comfort and to dampen vibrations.

Just strap in and ride; the Recon binding really makes it that easy. Offering plenty of features for custom adjustment and connective response, the Recon keeps things fun. EVA foam in the baseplate dampens chatter while the upgraded EVA-padded strap kit keeps your feet in comfort. A rotatable highback with a full-custom FLAD adds to the incredible value of Forum's most affordable binding. The Living Hinge Highback postions the forward-lean pivot point in the anatomically correct location, placing it closer to your ankle where your leg bends naturally. A seamless contact between boot and binding in the lower cup area improves heel hold and support.

Someone at Forum must have messed up, because at this price the Men's Recon Snowboard Binding is a steal. With a living hinge highback, real wrap EVA padding and an adjustable toe ramp, the Recon Binding is responsive and balanced. Rotate the highback to keep it out of your way for tweaks and presses, or customize it for popping spins off your heelside edge, landing hard, and slashing pow. Forum's Living Hinge technology ensures that no matter how far forward or back you set your highback there are no gaps or pressure points, just precise alignment and pure comfort.

The Forum Recon -which holds its own even at the highest level- makes slick design available at a shop rat price. Normally it would take two bills to get options like a living hinge highback, real wrap EVA padding and an adjustable toe ramp. The Living Hinge was completely redesigned and sculpted with comfort in mind and perfectly wraps the contours of your boot while supplying just the right amount of support. The Recon simply put is a steal -snag up a pair this season.

Normally it would take two bills to get options like a living hinge highback, real wrap EVA padding and an adjustable toe ramp, but someone screwed up on this binding’s price. The steal is almost like shoplifting, so keep quiet and snag a pair before someone notices.

Amazing bindings for the price. You wont be disappointed. Toe cap or strap option, which i really didn't think id find on these at this price. the black has alot of subtle details i really like. the latches appear gold on the picture from my computer but are more of a shiny gunmetal black in real life. they have a very clean look, and are built substantially. I would recommended to anyone looking for a good park binding for cheap. easy to adjust, easy to strap, easy to ride. A really good binding thats flying under the radar this year. only reason i gave it a 4 is because the padding on the straps is fairly thin, but what do you expect?? there so inexpensive. for the price definitely a 5 out of 5 but compared to some of the upper level bindings id give it a 4.

good stuff

Rating:****
I rode these bindings toward the end of last season and plan to ride them this year, I've used better but definitely good quality for the price. I think the strap has good enough padding for what it is. They adjust easily. I do not like the toe cap option, it doesn't feel secure enough to me, but it's perfect when worn regular.

Negative Reviews:

Cheap bindings.

Rating:**
Cheap binding in both price and quality. Great for beginers for a cheap entry level package but not the best for all mountain freestyle or big boy riding. They are not that great of a binding. Anyone who tells you they are the best, has clearly not been on a mid-level or upper-level binding and thus dosent know any better.
