| I purchased a pair of Black Wallace (size 11) shoes on May 6th from Zappos. I\'ve worn them religiously 4 or 5 days a week since purchasing them, because they\'re quite possibly the most comfortable and stylish shoes I\'ve ever owned.\r\n\r\nSadly, I noticed this morning that just from normal wearing, the left heel -- between the white foam rubber and the leather upper -- is coming completely unglued. The back 3 or 4 inches of my shoe is just flapping in the breeze, but the soles themselves have very little wear.\r\n\r\nMaybe shoes shouldn\'t last more than 3 or so months nowadays, what do I know? But I figured I\'d give everyone else the heads up.\r\n\r\nAnd - to rub insult into this shoe injury - I was planning on buying a pair of Curio shoes, because they look like they\'d fit the same. But since their construction is likely the same and will fall apart, I think I\'ll save my money! | |
