Great Jacket! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I absolutely love this jacket. Someone mentioned that it has "no insulation" but does obviously have some, but it's fairly light. The site doesn't indicate it but the powder skirt is in fact removable and the jacket even has a special pocket on the inside for stashing it. I normally wear a medium size and that fit me perfectly for this jacket. I haven't gotten to use it for snowboarding yet but did use it to trek through D.C. in rain, sleet, snow, and hail (literally) the entire day walking to the different monuments and was nothing but warm and dry all day with the temperature in the upper-30s (and I live in southern-AZ). The fur does a great job of sealing off the hood from cold air. It doesn't have wrist gaiters or whatever which I'm sure would help when I take it to the mountain but I still love this jacket.

Great Jacket | |

Just recieved my Adams jacket and its great, so many pockets you cant count em, hood is great, and detachable, fur is detachable as well from the hood, so youve got three options there: hood with fur, hood w/o fur, and just no hood at all. Amazing vents for those hot days. Like everyone else says, it is pretty big for its size, im a medium and i got medium cuz they didnt have smalls, just a little baggy, just like every other snowboard gear though. its got this nice belt thing at the base of the jacket they dont put into the description its basicly like a backup-snow-keeper-outer, it pulls nice and tight around the waist like a belt does, its elastic. This too is removable, perfect jacket for snowboarding and not snowboarding as well, all snowboard like features are removable for everyday wear. in my opinon, 5/5!!

Great jacket, blocks the wind like a champ. I've worn it in 40 degrees and 10 below zero with wind and it's always nice and warm with a couple of layers underneath. Fits very large so when in doubt get a size smaller unless you want it to drip off of you. I wear a Burton M/L, but needed a small in this one. Fur lining on the hood is great. There are two internal pockets, one is perfect for iPod, the other's bigger. Absolutely can't go wrong with Foursquare.

This coat is perfect for regulating your body temperature on the slopes. All you need is a hoody to stay warm in 25 degree weather. If anything I got Hot but with a quick unzip of the pit-zips and arm-zips my temperature was regulated perfectly! The hood has a bungee that snugs the hood right onto your head like a hat which keeps the fur from falling into your line of vision. It's Awesome! Great Jacket, Perfect for Snowboarding, Buy it BROSUFF!

good jacket. | |

i live in Ottawa, ON. it took about 10 business days to get the jacket and i'm fairly pleased with it. keeps the wind out well, but it is just a shell so i am expecting to have to wear a fleece underneath come january. i like the pockets/magnetic flaps, sturdy zipper, and durable material/soft interior. the removeable fur is nice too, one beef is that the fur pretty much engulfs your face with the hood up. otherwise, good solid jacket.

This jacket is amazing. It's a "shell" jacket, but is warm as hell. Forget that it has no insulation, one run will get you warmed right up. Love the MP3 pocket, front pockets, and zipper. Detachable fur is also a plus, rock the fur when you want, but not on the slopes as it will collect snow......then its not fashionable. Great jacket for the money and all-round. Highly recommended.

Great jacket, not as warm as I thought but with a good sweater you'll enjoy this item. Very nice design, alot of pockets, traps. This coat is design larger than the other coats so buy one point under. I'll enjoy this jacket very much when I'll get on my snowboard.

Got the black one and wore it right away for the week in Vermont. Warmest day was like 10 degrees and i just wore this jacket with a long-sleeve shirt under and was fine. Pockets keep everything dry and safe.

The jacket's inner left pocket tore because the button that closes it are so tight it requires too much strength to pop it open. Mine tore after trying to open. The hood's strap also snapped after trying to tighten it for fitting. Cheap material may be the result of this. It is imported from China.

If you ride anything other than park or groomers think twice about this jacket. It was nice, wind resistant, waterproof plenty of pockets but it rips pretty easily. Pretty bullsh*& about it actually.

Definitely get a size down, everyone is right in that respect. I wear XL in Burton and bought a large in this one. Wind blockage... not so much. I feel like the wind cuts into this baby on a windy day. I own a couple of jackets (one being the Burton AK Stagger) and this one does not hold up the same in the wind. Otherwise a pretty dope jacket. The fur is actual quality unlike my friends Volcom jacket that looks like a dead rat was wrapped around the hood. Venting is awesome, has kind of a cross venting in the arms and back. However, your friends may have to zip up the back vent if you unzip it too far... it is hard to reach while wearing. The black is rather faded. I am still not convinced it isn't just a dark brown. Other than that... no real complaints.

awesome looks, medium quality

Black one looks great on, killer look full of pockets. But has some low quality details, such as the weak cuffs and the so tight buttons in weak inner cloth youre afraid to open, seems youre going to tear the jacket, as someone has already said in a previous review. Im 6ft 190p and Large is perfect. This site and UPS service is great. Arrived to Europe in 6 days, but customs increased the price considerably.
