Third Generation, still fun!

This was a birthday gift to my grandson. I had an Original WWII model and really had fun with it as a kid too. No wet ground, no bugs or snakes and almost never too crowded. Primarily back yard and short hike use, not expected to be used 3 or 4 season or in drenching rains. Still many options on where and how to use it.

Jungle-licious!

The only thing negative that I can say is, it needs some poles in each end to keep it spread out, but sticks found near by worked just fine!
No mosquito bites and wasnt too hot, good air-flow. The water resistant fly is now water-proof with some scotch gaurd or nicwax.

Very pleased with this product.

Had to make to a minor modification. Simply running a stick through both ends of the hammocks loop holes made a world of difference for the comfortability of this product.

Small in size

Bought this for our backyard to relax in and keep bugs out. However, It's too small for an average size adult. We got a larger one instead.

You get what you pay for

I wanted a mosquito free hammock for relaxing in the backyard, and the possibility of camping. A genuine GI jungle hammock runs about $100, and this seemed like a viable alternative. The only real problem I have with this hammock is that the bed is too narrow (it is made in China). It's okay for my kids to use during the summer, but doesn't fit the bill due to it being too narrow to be comforatble.

you get what you pay for

Definite challenge to set all cords appropriately, rolled on multiple occasions and the seams held. Good way to try hammock camping without high cost. Not a destination, but a step on the journey.
