Jenson USA

Fox Racing's Transition helmet is based on the successful platform of the popular Flux helmet, offering dirt jump and street riders a light weight high performance helmet. The Transition provides plenty of coverage designed to protect you and to keep you cool with it's 12 strategically placed vents, designed to promote air flow and circulation, keep your head cool during sessions at the local park.

Unlike traditional skate influenced helmets which use heavy polycarbonate outer shells, the Transition utilizes in molding technology, similar to the Flux Helmet. This molded outer shell is injection molded onto the EPS foam. The outer shell covers and protects the EPS from dings and dents, and adds structural integrity with a molded wrap fit. In molding also allows for lighter weight finished product, as it eliminates the need for excess tape and glue.

Inset Chin Straps-the chin strap webbing is anchored directly into the EPS shell. This system offers improved roll-off strength, and further reduces overall bulk and weight.

Positive Reviews:

Great value!

Rating:*****

I am super impressed with this lid. It is remarkably lightweight like a XC helmet. I'm not aware of any other skate style mtb lid that is this light. It's almost more low profile than most other ones. The fit is perfect and I barely even realize I have a helmet on! Definitely worth $50.

Great lid for those of us that just can't handle the teardrop look. Very light, well ventilated, and keeps to the bmx roots. Weighs about half as much as my Bell Faction.

Great lid

Perfect "transition" from skate to mtn. Works great, well ventilated, much lighter than other skate inspired helmets.

Bought the L/XL... didn't fit me. I'm 6'4" tall. Sold it to my buddy who's 5'6" fits him perfect. It's good quality, just not sized properly.
