Positive Reviews:

Compact and easily transported

My experience with the FoxPro Wildfire 2 has been great. It has done everything to perfection. I have not gone past 100 yards at this time but it never fails to do what it is supposed to do. With the remote, I can change sounds, mute, raise and lower volume with out a single problem as of yet.
Yesterday a friend and I went out for coyote and fox. Hunting the mountains of North N.J. is very difficult. The reason is that the terrain is rocky with shallow and deep hollows every where. You are walking up or down and never level. The wind changes directions every few minutes.
We made our set up and as I started to call, the wind took a 180 so I moved to the opposite side of the ridge leaving my buddy to watch the caller. That put me 85 yard away from the caller and totally out of line and sight. I pressed the mute button and the caller shut down, pressed the mute again and the caller went back on. Any command that I gave the caller it did what it was supposed to. That was really cool. It seems to be a reliable device. I recommend it.

Great Product

Got the foxpro wildfire 2 for christmas. And the first hunt with it, my buddys and I called in 8 coyotes in one morning. calling in three different locations all about half a mile from each other. Im more then satisfied with this product!! works like a charm! i recomend this to any avid predator hunter!

Negative Reviews:

Wildfire II Field Test Failure

During the first hunt the caller was placed 80 yards away according to the rangefinder across a level cut bean field. To even operate the caller the remote had to be held high above your head. Even then the operation of the caller was sporadic and would switch sounds from rabbit squeal to a pack of howling/barking coyotes just from adjusting the volume. Thought it might be the cold or batteries so I gave it another field test with new batteries and on a warmer day. I set the caller 45 yards away again in a level cut bean field and started the hunt. Frequently during the hunt the caller would change sounds on its own when any of the control buttons on the remote were pushed. A hunting partner had purchased the same model from another supplier which never emitted a sound. Both returned!

A rebuilt predator call - Seriously?!??

Purchased this online through Cabelas. Price was good and ratings were mostly positive. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and read "REFURB" on the outside!!
I haven't had it out yet, but I felt as though I paid just slightly less than full price but received a "Rebuilt" game call. At this point color me mildly disappointed and feeling like I've been suckered.
Be Forewarned - you may get a "REFURB" item.
