great call

I have always called coyotes with hand calls and have been very successful, in my opinion. The fox pro has always been something I've wanted to try. Well I took the plunge and bought the prairie blaster 2. I made 2 sets and called in 6 dogs the first day out. This call is very well built, the volume is unreal, and it is very handy to carry around. YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE REMOTE AND HOW IT WORKS BEFORE YOU GO OUT WITH IT!!!!!! At first it seems complicated and intimidating but once you understand it and how it works it is extremely user friendly. You can call Fox pro toll free and they will walk you through anything you don't understand. I love this thing so far. Good warranty comes with it and its USA built.

Within minutes

After playing with my new call for an hour or so using time to establish the range for the remote and call cadence. My partner and I moved about a mile and set up about 9:30 A.M, at 9:35 a nice canine responded and was dispatched by a single shot from my rifle. It is one week later and I have taken 3 days vacation time to spend with the call in the desert.

trying to get rid of mine currently. not very durable and not much volume for North Dakota. it fell out of the truck (about 18") and knocked the speaker wire off and wouldn't work. fixed that myself and picked up the external speaker for it. not much louder. one of the legs will not lock in place anymore so I had to tape it in place. good sounds with it but doesn't matter if they can't hear it.100 yrds away in 10 to 15 mph wind and I can barely hear it. way over priced.
