Franco Sarto Test Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I have very similar boots in black that I got several years ago. I ordered these hoping they would be similar, and I was not disappointed. Absolutely love them! I ordered the brown ones. They have a sort of red look to them and look very close to the same color as they do online. Very comfortable, and I received a lot of compliments on them.

I bought Franco Sarto shoes very similar (almost identical I'd say) to these several years ago which I loved! These did not disappoint. The zip at the back was a little tough to zip up the first few times but they loosened up after a couple wearings. The toes are not too narrow and these shoes are very comfortable all day long.

These boots are beautiful and comfortable. They do run a bit large, but if you live in a colder climate that just leaves room for warmer socks.

Negative Reviews:

Nice looking boot out of the box, but then horror strikes. The foot fits fine, but these boots are way too big around the ankle and calf. I'm not sure why they bothered with a zipper unless there's someone out there with a 10 inch ankle. (Forgive me if there is someone reading this with a 10 inch ankle.) Oh and please...what's the point of the zipper? Honestly ladies, most of us could whip these boots off with a single angry flick of our leg. Really, I was so hoping to find something remotely close to my old Franco Sarto boots that were so buttery soft and fit my foot and ankle like a glove. My favorite old Sarto boots that were finally laid to rest by my cobbler after 5 years of fun and fabulous abuse. These new and crazy shaped boots are not even close. Any normal or even larger sized ankle and lower calf will swim in these (and feel very unsupported). Don't even think about skinny jeans with these - unless you don't mind a 2 inch gap between your leg and the boot. This makes it extremely awkward for walking - which is what we girls like to do when we put our boots on, yes? Ladies, there will be no strutting here. Just two minutes in these boots and I feel oh so clumsy and dare I say "dorky". It's a shame because this really is such a nice style for an everyday boot, but honestly Franco baby, what were you thinking? Please taper the shaft for us earthlings. Sadly...and most importantly, even my dog gave these a paws down. She ran away, embarrassed, and I could not catch her because my boots were so ill fitted. Franco Sarto, I adore you, but where have you gone? You disappoint me with these impostors.

I cannot recommend these. They look very cheap and run small. The zippers are very difficult to zip and I just do not care for them.
