Buyer beware! They are stiff in the ankle area, which I think would break in over time and they are very stylish. They are a very versatile boot and are cute with pants and skirts. I purchased these from a local retailer and wore them for one 10 hour day. At the end of the day, the bottoms were thrashed and looked worse than other leather bottomed boots that I have had for four years. The next day when I put them on, I noticed the lining on the foot bed was already peeling up. I checked out another pair at the store, and even right out of the box, the foot bed lining was peeling up. Thankfully I was able to return them. These are cute boots, but poor quality.
