Frye Austin Tie Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Great shoes at a great price. I typically wear 10D in nice dress shoes like Allen-Edmonds. These fit great in a 9.5D with or without dress socks. Very comfortable insoles and super soft leather. I have a feeling these will get more and more comfortable as I wear them.

Negative Reviews:

These are wonderfully comfortable shoes made from very good materials; however, the soles keep separating in the front. I wore one pair about 4 times before the front of the right shoe had issues. After some time, I tried another pair and within 3 hours of wearing them for the very first time, the soles from both shoes significantly separated from the leather upper. The leather is very nice along with the insoles. There is some type of issue with the manufacturing process at the moment the is preventing the soles to adhere to the upper.

Neutral Reviews:

Soles lasts about 4 months if you wear the shoes sparingly (about 1 or 2 times a week). These shoes are definitely not for daily wear. You will notice the separation of the sole from the shoe on the first day of wear. The crepe sole will also wear down to the leather portion in about 7 days of wear. Overall at this price I am pretty unhappy but Zappos won't let me give less than 3 stars. If the shoes were 60 dollars, then maybe 3 stars but doubtful.

Wore 1 day on tar back of heel already wore to next level, comfortable but won't last long, dirt grass or sand shoe. Shoe changed color after wearing 1 day, the dark brown turned a lighter color almost like they were dusty.

Very comfortable and soft leather shoe. The crepe sole is not standing up very well. Not a shoe for everyday wear. Change the sole to something more durable and the rating would be 5 stars.
