Frye Cameron Small Satchel Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Bought this for my daughter as a gift. It was exactly like the picture. Color was great and had plenty room for all her stuff, and the divided middle helped keep it organized. No need to be rummaging around looking for items at the bottom of one big bag. The quality that I expected from frye was there. Beautiful leather, that will last for a long time and age well. My daughter was thrilled as she had been eyeing this one for a while.

Love the bag, it is a little heavy, so probably wouldn't want to put too much in it. Don't connect strap to sides (as pictured) New style on Frye website shows strap connected to top at the base of carry-handle. The bay is too heavy to use sides, it will pull and stretch the leather.

Bought this and boots for my wife, that's right, I bought a purse for my wife. And she LOVES it. Huge points for me. We had to change sizes on the boots, and it was so easy I couldn't believe it. Thank You!

Negative Reviews:

This bag is all "style" and fails on quality. It looks fabulous out of the box, but it does not hold up. It is pitched as a "satchel," which implies that it can take a bit of a load, but it can't even handle your basic handbag items—all I've carried in it was a medium-sized wallet, a checkbook, a Kindle and a small assortment of cosmetics. The bag lost its shape almost immediately. If you expect it to look like that picture, forget it. It looks like a big brown clump of junk. The magnets don't hold, so those straps flap around, and the wraparound straps that are supposed to be adjustable for the width of the bag just pop off and hang—the holes that are supposed to hold the clasps for those have stretched out to the point of uselessness, and the clasp on the front of the bag keeps popping open, so the bag hangs open and your stuff could easily fall out. I bought it less than a year ago and, as I said, it is just One. Hot. Mess. I could not be more disappointed. This is NOT the Frye of years past.
