Frye Carson T Reviews:

Reviews:

The good: the style is great, the burnt red is a rich true red, the leather has a slightly pebbled texture, and even though these are made in China, the construction seems decent, with all edges finished and stitched. The bad: the footbed is at least a half size too small relative to the straps. I have narrow feet and consistently wear a 6 1/2 or 7 in Frye and other brands, but had to exchange for a 7 1/2 just so that my toes weren't right up to the front edge and hanging off the side. Since the sole is totally flat, I would have liked even a little more footbed margin to protect my feet, but the straps are almost too loose at just a half size up. I've got the buckle set at the smallest adjustment, so if they stretch I'm in trouble. However, they are good looking, and the quality seems better than other sandals of this type, so I'm keeping them. If you like the look, order a couple of sizes to try. One more note: the footbed is lined in the same slightly shiny leather as the rest of the shoe. Looks nice, but it seems like it might be kind of sweat-inducing for some people.

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about, but these sandals are perfection! I am a true size 6, and they fit perfectly. I have narrow feet, and I have enough room on the left/right and top/bottom cushioning for my feet. I got the Cement color because I was looking for taupe colored sandals, and they were the perfect shade. I am very happy with my purchase, and even though it was pricey, there is no way I could find a sandal as perfect as this one with a cheap price tag.

I ordered my usual size in these sandals and they fit perfectly! A 1/2 size larger and they would have been too long for my feet. The insole is cushy, which makes them comfortable to walk in for extended periods of time. I would have expected the leather to feel nicer for the price tag, but I'm sure it will soften up over time.

The sandal is ok but believe the other reviews when they say it runs small. I am always a 9. Even the 9.5 was too small for me..
