Frye James Lug Wingtip Reviews:

These are incredible shoes and one of the best values I have seen in the category. Why? Start with the styling. Frye gets it just right with a classic wing-tip that gives you the perfect shoe to dress up for work with wool cargoes or slacks and then after work with jeans or khakis. I liked that they amp up the classic style with a solid lug sole, soft burnished suede and a sturdy heel that hearkens to a more casual shoe. This is why they will work practically everything in your Fall and Winter closet. Comfort-wise, they can't be beat. A soft but firm sole and solid arch. They fit perfectly out of the box. No breaking in necessary. And for $150 bucks, I didn't find anything in higher end brands like Cole Haan or To Boot or John Varvatos any better quality. Go Frye!

These shoes are great - look and fit. I have a narrow foot and expected these to be wider but they fit nicely. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 9 in this shoe fits great. This is my first pair of Frye's. I hope and expect them to be outstanding shoes.

Very pleased with these shoes. Look great and felt great from day one. I wear these shoes at least once a week. Like the Frye James line so much I'm looking for another pair in dark brown leather.

Best pair of suede wingtips I have ever owned. Frye has excellent quality and style at a reasonable price point. I wear them with everything from suits to khakis and jeans.

Very nice shoes. The build quality is impressive and 'old school'. My Birkenstock insoles fit with no problem. Love the red soles and overall look.
