Frye Jet Boot Roper Reviews:

I was was pleasantly surprised by how chic, butch, and (hint of) cowgirl these are all rolled into one cool boot! There is a little more flare to the opening of the boot than seems to be pictured and it looks really cute on with dresses & skinny jeans. At the same time fits under boot-cut jeans as well. The brush-off charcoal has some char-y lightened edges around the front detail, pull straps and heel which makes it subtly striking. Overall it appears as a mostly matte blackish boot..the picture depicts the lightened parts as being more distressed and pronounced than my boots are (thankfully). These are quite comfortable for me--I have a medium width foot and fairly slender legs. I believe they are true to size. If you are looking for something a little macha and fun but understated then this is your boot.

LOVE. They do take some breaking in - especially if you're planning on wearing shorts/skirts/dresses. They, literally, left a ring around my calf from them rubbing them. it took about a week. And then another week for the rings around my legs to go away. Don't let this distract you! They are worth it. They are the perfect height. They're not too western or too work-wearish. They're just enough rock n roll.

The style is great. Beautifully soft leather. I did get heel blisters and there is a big crease on the top of the toe after wearing. Hopefully will get more comfortable because they are very expensive.
