Positive Reviews:

Some of the finest boots i've ever worn. They look and feel so good that I honestly hate taking them off! I've had them for 4 days and I've already gotten several compliments. They fit so well. A little snug at first, but that is to be expected from a quality boot. I ordered a 10.5 because thats what I wear in most shoes and boots. I would say these fit very true to size, again....just expect them to be very tight the first 2 or 3 times you put them on.

Boot is awesome so order it. I had to order two sizes to find perfect fit so I will focus this review on that. This boot in size 11 fits me great. I wear size 12 in Brooks running shoes, 11 1/2 in Asics, 12 in DC shoes, 11 1/2 in skechers, & 10 in Johnson & Murphy dress shoes. I hope this helps someone get the right size boot on the first order. Zappos return policy is top notch. Easy to return items if you need to.

Negative Reviews:

I've been buying the American made Frye engineer and harness boots for 30 years and was shocked at the flimsiness, poor workmanship, and total cheapness of these boots. These are made elsewhere, and the difference between what you would expect to be old school Frye quality, and what you get with these is shocking. These are just knock offs with a Frye label. And they are more expensive also even with the cheap labor. To be fair, these boots looked great and were extremely comfortable, and if I thought that they would last more than a few months of real motorcycle riding I would have kept them. They just would get eaten up. I returned these and ordered my old standby boot, the Frye 12r engineer boot. They are made in America and are 10 times the boot that the Smith is. And cheaper too. It's too bad because they do look very cool and feel like slippers. But the 12r's are the real deal. Make an American made Smith Engineer boot Mr.FryeCorporate Owner!
