This is my first pair of Frye boots and, man, what a boot it is! The quality of leather and craftsmanship is obvious upon opening the box. I purchased a pair of Bedstu Taurus II and, while it was a great boot in and of itself, I found it to be a bit too narrow for my taste and returned them. I purchased these boots and am more than thrilled with them. Upon initial wearing, I did notice that they were a tad tight in the instep of my foot, while still leaving plenty of room for the toe area. After wearing them for a couple of days, I can tell that they are starting to break in nicely (without any other "break in" treatment) and am sure they will conform to my foot beautifully. These boots had the "bulkier" look that I wanted for wear with denim or khaki pants that I didn't care for in the Bedstu's. Quality boot that I am sure will get plenty of years of life and highly recommend.

I've always been a fan of Frye footwear and also own a pair of Frye Dakotas that I purchased at Nordstrom 2 seasons ago. They're very well made (in the USA) and comfortable. These Fulton Chelseas also fall into that category. They look sharp with the distressing and fit while being true-to-size. I needed a chunkier boot to go with straight leg casual denim and pants. I'm very happy with my purchase.

My first boots in about 5 years. It took about 5 miles and a couple of blisters to break these in, but now they are my favorites. Used to dress shoes, these look more rugged and relaxed than my other shoes. Very cool.

Great shoe. Comes a bit tight, but gets comfortable very quickly. Looks great, too. My only complaint is that the heel is quite loud when you walk. It seems they run big; I suggest ordering a half size to a full size down.

I have several different brands of this style, Blundstone, Rossi, and Timberland. The Chelsea style is so versatile. The Fulton Chelsea is a good looking, sturdy boot that looks as though it would last a long time. It comes in a distressed finish that only adds to the ruggedness. The only problem I had with this boot is the sizing. I wear a 10 in about everything regardless of make or style. I ordered a 9.5 and still found it probably a whole size too large. With a 9.5 I had about 1.5 inches of spare room in the front. All in all it is a good looking boot, just be aware of the sizing before you order.
