Friend broke a rod tip on a recent canada fishing trip. The rod he was using for Northern Pike we discovered had a broken tip when we were in the middle of the lake. We were able to repair the tip and continue fishing so it did not require us to hike back to the truck for a repair. I would recommend the product highly
Handy
Better than taking rod to store to get the right size, but the glue stick is more trouble than it's worth. Dab of super glue (if you have right size tip) is much easier.

They work but are big.
I've bought these three times just to get the smallest tip and will never use the other two. They work but the smallest tip is still much bigger than the originals and looks cheap on a bass rod. Probably would be better on larger diameter rods.
