Tough!

Rating:*****

While not light, it does its job. For heavy duty 1-1/8th single or dual crown purposes, it doesnt get much better than this and the price is amazing! Sealed bearings and beefy lower cup, helps prevent ovalizing your headtube. Its built and ready to shred. Mine has not come loose once!

The go-to head set for DH'n on a budget or not!

Rating:*****

I'v been using this head set with my VPFree w/ a 888 up front for 3 years with no problems. It's outlasted my chris king by far but then again, Chris King was not thinking about riding Northstar chairs all summer when he designed his.

bomb proof

Rating:****

These are really nice headsets. The only downside is the weight, but if you are using it on a DH bike who cares?
