Fulton 1 500 lb Bolt-Through Swivel Jack Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

This swivel far exceeded my expectations

I just bought this about a month ago. My jack broke and I went to West Marines web site not knowing if I should buy without actually handling it. After researching it I ordered the swivel jack. I was so impressed with its quality. It was easy to install and is a big improvement to the one that came with my trailer. It operates smoothly when cranking up and down. The wheel is twice as large as my old jack. I haven't had it very long but I don't foresee any problems. Great product

Very easy to install.

I have a 25' Sea Ray Sundancer and with the old jack I couldn't move the boat at all. I ordered the new 15oolbs jack and it was easy to install and now I can roll the boat and trailer around the driveway. I like that it has a grease fitting to keep the gears well lubed. The large wheel is great. There is nothing bad to say about this jack so go out and get one and you'll see for yourself.

very very hefty jack

I bought this becasue it was on sale, and the one smaller in size was given a bad review. I used it on a jetski trailer and it is WAY over engineered for that application. A very hefty jack that I might be moving to my 17 foot aluminum boat trailer, just so it matches better.

Stable, secure swivel jack

This jack is SO worth the money! It far exceeds the strength and stability of the 1000# jack. Large diameter wheel makes it easy to move loaded boat trailer. Forget the small jacks; this is the one to get.

strong and smooth, easy cranking

It has a grease fitting which makes it easy to lube the internal gears. Upgraded from a 1000# jack for my 23 foot boat and it cranks so much easier that the 1000# jack!

A big improvement

My trailer's 4 bolt mounting plate didn't match the possible patterns on the jack. The provided U-bolts worked fine. The jack had to be moved 8" to the rear.

A1 Purchase!!!

I am happy with this purchase. The only thing was that I had to mount it a little farther back than what I had anticipated.

Bigger than I needed, but worth it

Bigger than I needed (for a 19 ft. bowrider), but worth it. Much more to it than the one that came with the trailer.

You don't know Jack

Product does exactly what it is designed to do and does it very well. Moving boat on trailer during storage is safe and easy.

Negative Reviews:

Don't put it in saltwater

This jack is not for saltwater use. I launched in saltwater about ten times over a six month period and now it won't crank up or down. There is no provision to flush it with fresh water. Engineers need to work on this!
Otherwise it is a safe, sturdy jack that performs well if you keep it dry.

Good Wish it was better around saltwater

600 hour salt spray test....1 month real world test but then again it does serve its purpose
