G. Loomis Imx Casting Rods -
Serious fishermen know a state-of-the-art rod is crucial. These are the rods that originally put G.Loomis on the map. Their super-high modulus graphite makes them unbelievably sensitive, telegraphing every rock, stump and weed you work your lure over, every twitch your bait makes. Each rod is extremely strong and able to haul in fish from long distances and great depths. They also are some of the lightest rods on the market, so you can cast all day without tiring your arm out.
Images depict the style of the rod handle and may not fully represent the actual length.

Greatest Rod I Ever Purchased

My friend turned me on to G-Loomis rods a couple of years ago. This rod is one of the best I have ever purchased. The sensitivity is unbelievable and the rod is so light weight. I am using it for jigs and plastic baits and can feel the difference when the bait comes across rocks or soft bottom. The quality of this rod is excellent. I fish several times a week and can't wait to get on the water and use this rod again. I know I will be buying more.

Expensive but worth it!

I have two MBR IMX rods. A 844 and an 843. Light weight with excellent sensitivity in a now "harder to find" full handle traditional rod. A great jig and plastics rod.

Negative Reviews:

Warranty let down

Overall the rod is decent. Compared to other rods in the same price range it is average. I have owned many G Loomis rods over the years and this is the second one that has broken while fighting a fish. G Loomis refused to warranty this rod due to some of the guides showing rust. Fishing saltwater all of my rods have some light rust on the guides so I guess they are all out of warranty now. The rod is decent as said but I can no longer recommend G Loomis.
