I used the 2lb for trout fishing and was very disappointed at first. Break offs occurred and knots would break when tying to tackle. Thought I had a bad batch so I un-spooled it and used another brand for a period of time. I later re-spooled this line onto a different reel/rod. Turned out to be user error (me). The right equipment and drag setup fixed things for me. Fixed the knot issue too, just required a little spit when cinching down. I have since had very good luck with this very same line. Performace has been really good. Shame on me, it wasn't the line.
went trout fishing the other day with three of my buddys all are great fisherman... i out fished all of them... i was done 1hour 15mins, five nice ones, it took most of the day for the rest of the boys.then they asked what line i was useing, i told them!!! we went out three days later, lol they all had P-line. we had 18 trout in 2 1/2 hours later. We are sold baby, used the 6lbs greenline. TY P-line. :)
I have used several of the major brands of fishing line: Stren, Seaguar, Trilene, Vanish, Spiderwire, Fireline.... but P-Line is BY FAR the best line I have used for freshwater bass/walleye fishing. Smooth, low tangle, low stretch.... perfect for what I need it for!!!!
