G3 Genuine Guide Gear Twin Tip Connectors -
A new tail connection system designed to securely attach any tailed G3 skin to a twin tip ski. Utilizing the same self-aligning stainless steel hands as G3's Alpinist tip connector, their Twin Tip Connector easily slips onto all G3 tail straps and offers a reliable, foolproof tail attachment for all twin tip skis.
Stop using duct tape to attach your skins to the tails of your twintips, and get the G3 Twin Tip Connector Kit. Simply clip the connector kit to your skis’ tails, hook your skins’ tail strap to the connector, and then head out of bounds to find soft snow for stomping switch landings. This connector kit adapts flat-tail G3 skins (sold separately) to your twintip powder skis, so you can slay big lines and spin the way you want in the backcountry.

Berg's Ski Shop
The very first company to make a tail connector kit that actually works with twin tip skis. Very easy to retro-fit to pretty much any G3 or Black Diamond skin. Works great and no more kicking off the tail of your skins while going up the hill. Thanks to G3 this kit works with most major brands including BD branded skins thanks G3!!!

G3 Genuine Guide Gear Twin Tip Connectors Reviews:

Im usually touring in ON3P BGs (twin tip) with G3 skins. I spent half a season constantly asking the person behind me to help re-attach the tail clip. Ive had to lash my skins on during an approach after they filled with snow b/c i finally let the skins drag unattached. (some people tour w/o tail clips after all, my experience is that doesn't work on rockered twin tips) The twin tip connector works perfectly. They easily slip onto the tails and provide a solid fit for the skins. I will say getting the old clips off and the twin tip connector on the skin tab was pretty awful.

I was skeptical about the twin tip connectors, I figured they were just a gimmick. Although after one trip I realized that if you have twin tips and don't use these connectors, you are wasting your time. Not ONCE did my skis start to slip off, which was a first for me at the time. I am using these on the Alpinist Skin with Armada JJ's
They may seem pointless, but if you tour at any level, they are a basic necessity in my mind.

My wife has these on her skins for Nordica La Nina's, which have a completely rounded off tail. These are perfect for the tail attachement and haven't popped off once mid-skin. Having two hooks keeps these anchored onto the tails even with a little side to side sliding. I was a little concerned that they would be harder to put on than the traditional tail hook attachment, but we haven't had any issues with the on/ off.

I used these on a pair of BD Verdicts, but I realized they weren't any better than the regular clips - just a lot harder to put on and off in a hurry. But I can see that they would work great for a pair of big twins. They definitely do the job of staying put when you cinch them down nice and tight. Don't be afraid to stretch those skins!

These are a must have for skis that have either a twin tip or rockered tail. Hold the skins on more securely than the standard clip and your skins won't come off if you accidentally kick it with your other ski.
These also fit perfectly on Black Diamond skins

These connectors work wonders. Easy to use, easy to adjust, and saves your top sheet. It was a bit hard to get the stock tail clips off of the skins, but other than that super easy to use.
I highly recommend these connectors.

Worked perfectly well with my K2 WorkStinx. They have a rounded, upturned tail (not true twin-tip)--the G3 Connector holds skins on securely. Biggest issue was getting the original skin clips off my G3 skins--took a bit of muscle.

Great idea and it works with no hassels.I've been using these
on my short skins for my Tonics. You don't have to worry about
the tail connector coming off.Once secured they aren't moving.

super easy to switch the tail piece to use this great attachment. A must have for anyone touring with twin tips. holds much nicer than the standard clip does.

I used this G3 connector kit and the Black Diamond STS kit to make a functional tail clip for splitboard skins.
