I got these boots on sale and for the dollars they are totally worth it. Is it a designer boot or comparable to wearing a nice pair of Cole Haans,No, but I wouldn't expect that with a pricey boot. I am very fashion forward and unfortunately the era of Uggs has become a bit dated. Even though I still love them someone commented at the dog park about someone else's and I admit it embarrassed me a bit about wearing my own in the future. I also am the type of woman that is always in heels but at the end of a long day I don't feel like walking my dog around San Francisco in them anymore and needed something flat, none ugg, to give my feet a rest. These shoes are completely flat in my book and a bit roomy in the heel so I got a nice insert from walgreens and these are my go to boots at the end of the day. My skinny jeans/pants slip into them nicely and I don't look funny walking around with these and whatever I had on at work. The cut of these looks expensive, my friends thought I had bought some flashy new pricey boots and being a girl I couldn't wait to tell them they were my cheap solution for some flat shoes. My style is more sophisticated classy female with a unique edge and these definitely fit that bill. The others I looked at were all to chunky and wanna-be- biker chick for my taste.
So far these boots have been exactly what I was looking for, a fall boot with a simple style that I could tuck in leggings/skinny jeans but also wear underneath boot cuts jeans. I'm also petite and wanted the get in on the Fall boot action without looking wearing a tall boot that made me look even tinier. This mid-calf height was the perfect look. The zipper detailing and buckles are a nice touch when I'm wearing them with leggings and, despite the low price, they are surprisingly comfortable. The only small issue has been a bit of discomfort with top of the inside fabric of one boot that irritates my skin when I'm wearing the boots under jeans. Tall socks or a small piece of tap seem to do the trick. Overall, if you're looking for a simple stylish boot without spending a lot of money, this will be a great look for the Fall.
I love these boots. I have shorter legs and these are very flattering. I love the soft leather uppers. As for the noisy buckles, I just squeezed a little Elmers glue into the loose cylinders that were rattling and let it dry. Noise is gone.
I bought these shoes and they are okay. I don't think it's worth the price. The leather doesn't even look real, I'm skeptical. Also they are a little short, not a mid calf boot...between calf to ankle size. I think I can deal with that. However, the worst part is the hardware is cheap and jingles when you walk. I need to find a way to fix that because I desperately needed to keep the boots for work. Overall I would say they are okidoki and comfortable, but not happy about the price. These boots should be more like 50-60, not this price!
