Galvan Reel Bronze -
The wide, large arbor spool and frame have a ventilated design to reduce weight. Drag system is composed of stainless steel, a self-lubricating bushing and state-of-the-art, heat- and wear-resistant thermoplastic material for corrosion-resistant braking control. Large arbor dramatically increases retrieve speed. Line is picked up much more rapidly than with a conventional spool and comes off the reel with less memory. Drag tension remains almost constant as more line and backing are pulled from the reel, thus reducing the chances of breaking off a big fish. Drag knob is solidly detented for precise settings. Safe for use in saltwater. Larger sizes are ideal for use with spey rods. Convertible right- to left-hand retrieve.
Color: Bronze.

Galvan Reel Bronze Reviews:

I picked up the T-5 & the T-6 in this model and my only regret is I would have gotten a T-8 also. These are the smoothest spinning reels I have ever fished and really lay the line out. I love the precision craftsmanship and the quality of the drag on the Torque reels. Everything just feels right and easy to adjust while fighting a big fish that has decided to make another run. I have fished them mostly in fresh water for trout, bass, and carp and never had any problems with any of these species and this reel. I plan on keeping mine for a very long time.

Galvan Fly Reel

Don't waste your money on any other reel. If your 4wt is what it should be, you deserve a reel this light and pretty; if your 10wt is being used as it should be, this will still handle more than you think you can throw at it. 2 lbs brookies or 8 lbs bones... doesn't matter, this reel will make you glad to include it in your trophy pictures.

Great reel

I have a number of Galvan reels for other rods. What can I say... once you find a quality product that performs well you stick with it!!!
