A Little tip

First off, look no farther for a plastic hook. These are the sharpest, best designed hooks on the market. But here's a little tip. When things are slow the skip gap actually allows you to rig a live night crawler weedless. Rig it just as you would a plastic worm only don't bring the hook tip all the way back through the worms body. Just bury the tip in the worms body. The barb will keep it from sliding off. Takes a little practice. But bass can not resist a live squiggling juicy night crawler. Fishing a live night crawler weedless on one of these hooks is lethal.

skip gap hooks

These are one of the best hooks I ever used. They are particularly effective with tubes and thin finesse worms. They are also good with regular thickness worms but the are not very effective with thicker and very large plastics. I highly recommend them.

Gotta set them.

These hooks are made for tubes but are fantastic for plastic worms. The worm stays up on the hook and seldom slips. You have to really set these hooks. The pro pack of 25 hooks is a great value.

best hook for plastics

This hook is the best for holding worms, creatures and swimbaits. You can pitch these into brush, logs, etc and the hook will hold your soft plastic lures in place.
