Great air rifle

This is my first air rifle and it's everything I was looking for! I bought it in store and the first shot with no pellet was louder than any .22 I've ever heard. It settled down after that first shot and is now quiet enough for me. It still sounds like a pretty quiet .22, especially with supersonic pellets like the included PBAs. I only have about 150 shots through it but its pretty accurate. I'm getting palm sized groupings at 30 yards and I expect it to get much better once I get some more trigger time. The scope isn't as bad as people will have you believe. I mounted mine properly and it hasn't moved. I was able to zero it pretty easily too. The only complaint I have is that the included scope has what appears to be the plastic curly thing left over after they cut threads into the scope, inside of it. It moves with every shot. Not a huge problem as it never blocks the sight picture too bad but definitely annoying.

Air Rifles not toys anymore

I had seen a show on TV called Air Nation or something like that. Watching a hunter take down a wild boar with a .50 cal air rifle was intriguing. As the owner of many firearms from .22 to .308 I had always though of air rifles as toys...until that show. I went out and purchased a Gammo Viper and found it super accurate on varmints. My friends father was very impressed by the rifle so I purchased the Big Cat for him as a Christmas gift. While he has not had a chance to use it yet I cant imagine he will be disappointed based on our experience with the Gammo Viper

Not Bad

Scope is a little on the cheap side. Loads of fun to shoot!
