Very accurate

I bought this rifle to teach my 6 year old twin boys to shoot. At first, I was worried about the scope, not real impressive but after sighting in, it has held zero for over a year and probably 750 pellets. It is perfect for the boys because of the shorter length of pull. They can keep the stock in their shoulder and reach the trigger fine. At 20 yards, they can hammer those mini clay targets. Infant, they're getting cocky and the even shoot the broken pieces. Most accurate air rifle I've ever owned. I shot a raccoon out of a tree with it and it was plenty powerful enough to dispatch him.

Great Buy

I purchased the Recon Whisper in the bargain cave a couple of weekends ago. (Talk about a deal!) It shoots straight and is plenty powerful enough to take down small pests. I don't really know how quiet a "standard" air gun is so I can't compare the sound level when shooting, but this one is about one quarter the sound level of a .22 cal.
Overall Great buy especially if you find it in the cave!

Handy Tool

Bought this junior model for my 85 year old mother who lives alone and wanted something she could handle to deal with pests around her house. Easy operation and junior size made this the ideal tool for the job.

Negative Reviews:

A decent gun but I wouldn't buy it again

I purchased this for my son. And for just going out in the back yard to shoot cans at 15 yards it works fine, but the Scope is no good and the scope mount channels on the rifle don't hold the scope in place so it shifts back and dislodges plastic cap covering the back of the action. it really isn't all that consistant even from a rest. If I was purchasing again, i would pick something else.
