Decent product with its limits

This is a less expensive option than all the other combo's of this size with touch screen. Seems like a great unit for the price. However it does lack a few key features.
There is no 3D mapping functionality with the most popular map products. The transducer freq that is required is not the same as most all the other Garmin products, so you cannot upgrade from another device without changing the transducer. And the transducers available are rated for less depth than the unit is capable of reading. Also, out of the box(as recent as July2013) the 50s and 70s do not work with certain map software(at least not LakeVu HD Ultra). It requires a unit software update first.
Because this is a new and different platform product for Garmin, there seems to be a lack of tech support knowledge at this point. I've spent 3 hours with 4 techs, and one replacement unit trying to figure out why my maps would not unlock...it needed the unit software update.

Incompatible transducers. None correct

GARMIN and SPEC note that 77/200 8-pin transducer is required. No such transducer is available.
