With the MapSource City Navigator, you gain access to turn-by-turn directions for nearly every country on the European continent. In fact, over 10.4 million kilometers of roads are featured throughout both Eastern and Western Europe. And, in addition to this, you're able to display points of interest throughout the region that you're traveling -- over 6 million points to be exact. This means that finding restaurants, lodging, border crossings, campsites, and attractions will be as easy as looking at your Garmin.
And once you pinpoint your destination du jour, the software enables your device to actually speak your directions and street names. Garmin has even worked on enhancing the pronunciation of these names. So, your chances of getting lost are nearly eliminated. In fact, Garmin has further ensured this by including live traffic data, turn restrictions, roundabout guidance, and speed categories. And with the DVD, software is included that allows you to plan and plot your trips. This way, you're able to set transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks.
The Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe NT is only compatible with the Garmin Edge 800 and 810. Please note that MapSource does not provide coverage for Russia, and that coverage is limited to major roads and most urban areas for the following countries: Bosnia, Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Belarus, Ukraine, Reunion, and French Guiana.
