Garmont's Triple G Injection technology is the first to combine three different Pebax stiffnesses in the same boot shell to maintain a sweet forward flex while generating maximum lateral torsional control. It's softer in the flex zones, stiffer in the foot zone, and has an even stiffer "Chassis" extending from the toe all the way to the heel and up to the top of the of the cuff. The "Chassis" preserves the smooth, forward flex yet allows for rock solid control while edging the ski. The bellows have been recessed to keep them away from slicing edges. The light Magnesium buckles have an "Icebreaker" pin that reduces icing. The buckles and power strap are easy to operate even with gloves, and they allow for precise volume adjustment and foot retention. The adjustable forward lean locks at 19 degrees, 24 degrees, or can be set free for walking, and there is a cant adjustment. The new Thermofit liner has a better fitting sole and tongue design. It uses a tough outer material and a simple lace up system. It has three different closed cell foam densities and thicknesses, specifically developed for the proper flex when used in telemark boots. The softest foam is used in the forefoot and tongue for warmth and comfort. A stiffer support density wraps the rear of the foot, which is reinforced by an even beefier cuff density. The simple tongue design makes entry and exit easy while maintaining the forward lean.For mail order customers, any good downhill ski shop should have trained knowledgeable staff to assist you with thermofit fitting.
