Garmont Syner-G

Skiing > TelemarkRated: **** by 1 review.

Marmot Mountain

The Syner-G is a 3-buckle high-performance boot designed to drive and carve with the wider skis on the market. It is perfect for backcountry touring and lift-served skiing. This year it has new aluminum buckles. Not only does the Syner-G use a narrower performance last, but the Thermofit liner will give you a great fit every time. Garmont´s Triple G Injection technology is the first to combine three different Pebax stiffnesses in the same boot shell to maintain a sweet forward flex while generating maximum lateral torsional control. It´s softer in the flex zones, stiffer in the foot zone, and has an even stiffer "Chassis" extending from the toe all the way to the heel and up to the top of the of the mid-height cuff. The "Chassis" preserves the smooth, forward flex yet allows for rock solid control while edging the ski. The flex zone has been recessed to keep it away from slicing edges. An adjustable forward lean control lets you set the forward angle at 17, 22-degree or free-heel for uphill.

I would buy this product again

Rating:****
This is an excellent all around Tele boot - great for on Piste or in the backcountry. Sizing is accurate (See Garmont web site for sizing for shoe size conversion). I Pro ski patrol and this boot stays comfortable all day. I had to experiment with the foot bed inserts - to get best fit - but very comfortable now.
