These versatile boots are nimble enough for classic kick and glide on light backcountry skis, yet beefy enough for cranking turns on semi-wide, metal-edged skis. Anatomically Directed Design® , perfected in Garmont's hiking boots, follows the shape and mechanics of the foot for anatomical fit and comfort.
Tall (18cm) boot height offers superb ankle support and heel retention which is key for the hard-to-get-to back in the woods places. Polyurethane coated leather and Cordura® upper, resist water and take the abuse of backcountry touring to the next level. Padded ankle cuff and moisture-wicking lining helps keep your feet comfortable for hours to days of skiing. Gaiter hook on top of the toe keeps your gaiters from riding up and snow getting into your boots from the top. Deep-lugged Molded Vibram® soles for out of ski traction; 75mm 3-pin Nordic norm sole.
