Gear Aid Side-Release Buckle Kit Review:

Almost good enough

I bought this in the 1.5" size to use as an adjunct to the hip belt buckle on the REI Flash 62, which has been slipping with loads greater than 20 lb.

The male side has a ladder buckle type lock, but the other side works with a double slider that I can't quickly adjust. Both are secure, but I found a dual adjusting buckle at rocky woods.
