Great alternative

My knife came razor sharp right out of the box. After cleaning the mechanism, was able to open the knife with an flick of the wrist, while holding down the button. Screwdrivers work good, there is a file on the side of the Philips bit. Used a Dremel tool to remove a small amount of martial from the bottle opener to create a cool can opener, which worked great and still able to open a bottle. Although ya can't replace the usefulness of a multi tool, this is a great alternative for those who need/uses a knife more then a pair of pliers. (would give 5 stars if made in U.S.A.)

I like the one hand opening and closing. The locking
in both open and close position. The blade holds an edge and easy to get the edge back when it gets dull.
Plus the screwdriver bits and bottle opener, I use them alot.
I purched an extra one to but in my backpack. Im thinking about buy one for each of my son's.

scrap metal

Made in China, you don't know this until you receive it. Cabalas doesn't tell you this when you order. Not designed for one hand opening. It has thumb screws, but it takes two hands to open it. I have and still own a lot of gerber tools, but they were made in USA
