Gerber Steadfast Knife Reviews:

One great Knife

I bought this knife from Cabelas 3-4 years ago as hunting/general use knife and I'm very satisfied with its
performance. I have several other more expensive knives and this one is by far and long the best. I've used this for chopping, splitting, prying, cutting, slicing,
butchering, and just about anything short of a spear.
about a year ago the tip broke slightly (1/16 in.) when I was opening a paint can with it , 10 minutes of diamond file work brought it right back to new.
Since the sheath is half the knife I thought I should
mention it, it has held up well considering the places its been and abuse its suffered.the design is functional
and secure. One regret: I didn,t buy the knife sooner.

Gerber Steadfast

Best working and camping knife I ever had! Very versatile in every way. Strong, keeps the edge, doubles as an outstanding survival knife. Wish I had one 20 years ago! Must be very careful un-sheathing it though, as the strap gets in the way, and I keep it Razor sharp. That is the only drawback.

Very strong heavy knife

Was more sturdy and balanced than I expected. Perfect for deer work and easy to clean up with soap and water. Plus it's made in the USA !!!

Good knife

Good edge right out of the box. Comfortable grip. Would have given it a perfect score but the knife sits loose and rattles when clipped on you belt
