Giant started in 1972 with one goal: Create a better cycling experience for people around the world. Giant has never lost sight of their goal. The founders of Giant Bicycles were craftsmen and engineers, and they loved to ride. Working to their strengths, they set out to improve cycling by following three guiding principles: craftsmanship, innovation, and inspiration. Over the past four decades, Giant has become one of the most well- known bicycle brands in the world. Giant Bicycles has won world championships as well as numerous awards online and in- print cycling magazines. Giant Bicycles makes bicycles for everyone in the family, as well as for championship road and mountain bikers, and everyone in between.
The Giant Glory 2 is ready to slay any downhill trail you put at it, whether it be a local race course or world cup downhill trail. The 8 inches of race-proven Maestro suspension allows for a downhill bike that is agile in corners and will soak up even the gnarliest rock gardens. The frame is strong and durable, constructed out of ALUXX-SL grade aluminum. Suspension on the Giant Glory 2 consists of the RockShox Kage rear shock in the rear and the RockShox Domain RC in the front, sporting 200mm of travel and a 20mm thru-axle.
Durable components from SRAM make up the drivetrain on the Giant Glory 2. The SRAM X5 shifter and derailleur allow for a quick and smooth shift every time. The MRP G2 chain guide on the front cranks will keep the chain under tension, eliminating any dropped chains on the roughest terrain. Slowing you down and keeping you under control are the Avid Elixir 5 hydraulic disc brakes. The Glory 2 comes equipped with a 200mm rotor in the front and a 180mm rotor in the rear. Grip over the trail is provided by the Schwalbe Dirty Dan Evo DH specific tires. Take valuable seconds off your race time and pick up speed on your local trail with the Giant Glory 2.
