Giant started in 1972 with one goal: Create a better cycling experience for people around the world. Giant has never lost sight of their goal. The founders of Giant Bicycles were craftsmen and engineers, and they loved to ride. Working to their strengths, they set out to improve cycling by following three guiding principles: craftsmanship, innovation, and inspiration. Over the past four decades, Giant has become one of the most well- known bicycle brands in the world. Giant Bicycles has won world championships as well as numerous awards online and in- print cycling magazines. Giant Bicycles makes bicycles for everyone in the family, as well as for championship road and mountain bikers, and everyone in between.
Designed for the avid female mountain biker, the Giant Tempt 5 27.5 combines lightness and stability to make a well balanced cross country machine. The 80mm travel Suntour fork with lockout provides added cushion on aggressive trails, but still allows you to power through climbs with a rigid feel. The drivetrain is composed of Shimano components, combining the Acera and Altus lines. Tektro mechanical disc brakes provide stopping power and will allow control on the trail. Comfort continues with the use of a women-specific Giant seat, helping those long ride aches to be a thing of the past. The larger wheel size of the Giant Tempt 5 allows for easier rolling over obstacles and better pedaling efficiency. Try out the Giant Tempt 5 27.5 today and see what fun a cross country bike can be.
