Excellent on-deck knife

I wanted a knife to use above deck on a sailboat primarily for emergencies. It had to be corrosion-resistant, beefy gripped, blunt-tipped with both smooth and serrated blades, fixed-blade, stowable in a sheath with easy retrieval with one hand. And, not crazy expensive, as I would place several of them in different places around the deck.

The only thing I would change would be the sheath's locking mechanism, which is plastic and barely latches the knife into place. A little warpage from heat and maybe the latch doesn't hold so well.

Other than that it's a great knife for my purposes and very affordable.

Great knife

Great knife but when I got the knife it seemed a little salty and the screw had been stripped, but it was still fully in the packaging

Very sturdy

A good sturdy knife that is good for underwater as well as helping with cocktails after the day is done.

More Cons Than Pros

I was very disappointed when I received this knife. The blade was dull, I had issues cutting old paracord that I had lying around, and the serrated side was practically worthless. The knife feels very solid, however when it's in the sheath it wobbles around. After five times of locking and unlocking it into and out of in the sheath the clip that holds it in place popped out. I tried putting the clip back on but the plastic hinge is wore out. There is NO WAY I would want to depend on this knife in a life-threatening situation, nor would I ever recommend it to another person.
