Giro Rumble -

Giro Rumble Bike Shoes are more than just shoes for a biker; they are the shoes for a true dedicated athlete. When mountain biking upwards of 10 miles per hour, getting good traction on the pedals is incredibly important for maintaining speed and balance. This is where the shoes come in. Giro Rumble Bike Shoes are custom designed to provide support for the arch of the foot, shaping it in the optimal position for biking. The unique way it handles fastening means the chances of laces becoming undone are next to none. The shoes are incredibly lightweight and specially designed to make sure there's absolutely no unnecessary drag that would otherwise slow the true athlete down.

  • Non-slip laces allow you to personalize the fit, hidden lace holders keep them from getting in the way

Support and Cushioning:

  • Molded EVA footbeds with medium arch support discourage arch fatigue and enhance comfort

  • Injected internal shanks provide good pedaling stiffness and flex for comfort while walking

  • Premium, durable synthetic leather uppers are built to take whatever the mountain can dish out

  • SPD, Time and Crank Brothers cleat compatible

Giro Rumble Reviews:

A good shoe for the gym. I purchased these Giro Rumbles so that I could clip-in to the pedals on the bike at my gym. Installation of the SPD Cleats (also purchased from Zappos) was a breeze. Now I'm clipped in and can really utilize more of my hamstrings on the upstroke of the pedal. As for comfort, they are a bike shoe, so I wouldn't want to hit the treadmill in these shoes, but for walking around the gym and lifting weights before/after a ride they do just fine.

Pretty sweet shoe. Fits better than some of my other, non-biking, shoes. Attractive and extremely light weight. The mesh parts are sheer but seem pretty durable. Would recommend 3-4 coats of waterproofing on them to protect from weather and chain grease. One downside would be that the offset in the sole for the cleats is not quite deep enough, so people definitely hear me coming. But this is my first cleat shoe so this may be normal.
