Good Protection | |

| I am an intermediate skiier and never believed that I needed a helmet until last season when I fell and hit my head very hard. I decided that was the last time I was skiing without a helmet and wore a bike helmet for the rest of last season. Wanting to be a bit more stylish, I bought this helmet this year and it seems to be just what I need. I would perfer a dark color but that is not a defect of the product. It fits well and appears very durable. I don't wear goggles but someone who does might want to know that it does not look like goggles would fit over the helmet, although there is a strap in the back to hold them. | |

Still happy after 2 years

| This was my first helmet and I have no regrets into my 3rd season of use. I don't have anything to compare to, but I'm more concerned about getting too hot in warmer weather than too cold in low temps, so I think white is a good choice. I have the one with the leather exterior - unique! I paid more than this for mine and still felt it was a good deal at the time compared to others I tried, so this is a really good deal. Be careful, though, every mfr's sizes and shapes are different. Go ahead and buy this helmet but make sure it fits right before you wear it on the mountain. | |

i like a lot about it, but... pros- comfy, doesnt make your head seem enourmous like some helmets, not to pricey, cons- strap pinchs unless you loosen it, loosening it is confusing for an idiot like me, the goggles strap doesnt fit around the plastic adjuster thingy on the goggles strap, so it has to be pushed off to the side(a minor inconvenience), and the straps of my goggles dont sit well on the sides (which doesnt matter but it bugs me for some reason) overall though the pros are more important then the cons, if not as lengthy... a def buy.

| Great helmet! Comfortable and looks really sharp, for guys and girls. The microfleece lining is a great feature. My favorite thing about this helmet is the soft, thick ear pads that really keep your ears warm on the coldest nights on the slopes. The only thing that keeps me from calling this product "perfect" is the fact that the chin strap does not tighten enough and it hangs loose. I'm an adult and ordered a small so I don't see any reason why the strap is as loose as it is. Nevertheless, it's still a good helmet and I recommend it. | |

Bling! | |

This is my second helmet, and I totally love it. I never wore my first helmet because I felt pretty lame in it but this one is another story. It's nice and light so I can't even tell it's there and the matte black finish makes for a nice mini graffiti board for my dome. I blinged it out and now I have the most flash-tastic helmet on the mountain! I would recommend trying it on in a shop first though just like any other helmet cuz it fits way different than any other helmet I've tried on. :)

This is the best helmet i have ever worn, it has padding to ensure comfortable fit, removable padding just in case you want to wear a beanie or just make room for you head. Sizes matched exactly. The helmet is so light you barely even feel it and then when i took a hard crash i got whip lash and my head hit but with this helmet i barely felt it. overall the best helmet i have ever had and will ever have. I fully recommend to every one considering this helmet.

2 thumbs up | |

At first I thought that the helmet was gonna fit weird because it looked shallow, but when I put it on the earflaps kinda suck it down to your head. I have taken a really hard slam this past week and it was awesome! It stays glued to your head before and after impact, I wear my chinstrap loose so this was a surprise. And with goggles it is perfect with a slight overhang it covers up any unsightly gaps between the helmet and googles.2 thumbs way up!!!

Bad Ass helmet! | |

I got this in the black leather. My boyfriend has it in white leather and I really liked his, but didn't want to be one of those couples that wears matching stuff. The leather isn't the durable biker leather, but a very supple leather almost like calfskin. (The white leather is a tougher leather.) Don't know how it will hold up for icey wrecks - it may scratch easily, but it looks so good, is so comfortable, and affordable enough to replace when needed. Love it!

Great helmet! | |

| This helmet has a great look. The leather has a nice rich feel to it. I own a Giro Nine helmet as well. For the Giro Nine, I actually wear a size M and I had originally bought an M for my Bad Lieutenant and it was too big so i returned it for a small and it felt just fine. I found online a set of Skullcandy wired tune ups for $15 and now I have audio. I am very happy with my purchase. | |

Four star riders, not your helmet
| Rating: | ![]() |
You get what you pay for...The giro helmet looks great in a box, or on a shelf, but on your head you'll look like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. The fit is about right, but there is hardly any adjustable padding, in fact there's hardly any padding at all inside. Mine nearly fit, if there was more padding it would have been ok, but the hard foam inside gives a solid headache after a few minutes. The price is great, but if your melon doesn't match up with this helmet just right you're screwed. Overall, fit isn't great and the whole thing seems cheap when you look at it in person.

This helmet looks great but pinched a bit at first. After riding w/it for a little bit, though, I seemed to have gotten used to it where I don't notice it too much. The only major gripe I have is that the goggle strap on the back doesn't snap over my goggles so I had to make an adjustment there. Otherwise the helmet looks great and works well w/my Smith goggles (aside from the strap issue).

Decent for the price | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
Great looking helmet, but it is a tad bigger and heavier than most. It also doesn't have vents so it can get hot in there. All in all, it's a decent helmet and I really didn't notice the drawbacks while I was boarding.

Good Bucket | |

The helmet is pretty good. Performs well and looks good. Just be careful. In colder temps the ear pieces seem to be very fragile as they are attached with a thinner plastic.
