Giro Bravo Gloves -

We understand people who want a simple pair of gloves on their hands, and the Giro Bravo Gloves are just that — a simple glove with durable palm construction, breathable uppers, and Giro's signature 3-panel design. The Bravo Gloves will keep your hands wrapped in comfort during training rides and on your daily commute.

The palm of the gloves is made from durable AX suede. The soft, flexible material makes use of a three-piece palm construction that fits the natural curve of your hand and prevents bunching when you grip the bars. Since AX suede is a microfiber that mimics real suede, it retains the same breathable properties you find in most microfibers and keeps your hands dry. Gel padding is placed throughout the palms in areas prone going numb, so your hands stay comfortable regardless of your hand position.

Giro uses a breathable mesh on the tops of the gloves that wicks away moisture. The mesh tops also stretch with your hand as you vary your position on the bars. The top of the thumbs are finished with a soft, absorbent microfiber so you can wipe perspiration from your face and glasses without scratching them. The hem of the gloves sits low around the wrist and closes via a hook-and-loop strap to keep them in place.

The Giro Bravo Gloves come in Black/yellow, White/blue, Red/white, White/black, and Lead/white. They are available in five sizes, Small through XX-Large.

Great gloves but not for me

The gloves are great. They fit well, look nice, and feel great. This was my first pair of fingerless gloves and I love the connection to the controls on my road bike.

The issue I had, my hands get really numb when riding. I had been riding with my full finger mountain bike gloves which are not padded at all. I thought I'd give these padded gloves a try to see if they would help. They didn't. In fact, they made it worse. It's not the gloves though, just my hands. The gel pads are just in a spot that puts too much pressure on the nerve going into my hands.

So if you suffer from the same issue, this might not be the glove for you. Otherwise, they are great. I am returning these and grabbing a different pair of Giro gloves which is essentially the same but with no padding.

Again, good glove, just didn't work for me, YMMV.

I Own Two Pairs They Are so Great!

A year ago I picked up a pair at REI on a whim after years of only Pearl Izumi gloves.

They were so great that they became my primary gloves for century rides and weekend club rides.

This glove has held up so well wash after wash. They are soft, maintain shape, and are breathable.
They provide very good gel cushion.

A month ago, I picked up another pair at REI just to store away in case something happens to the first, or if I need a 2nd pair for a long week of riding out of town.

Used for mtn biking in the Park City area, got the white ones in a size large. Fit perfect, normal sizing. I typically use large gloves and these fit normal. There is a little velcro-like synch strap at the wrist for a snug fit. Nice compression padding in the palm. I like white so my hands don't get too hot, breath nice too. Great glove for the price.

Bravo for Giro's Bravo Gloves!

I use these gloves for bike commuting through town (16.5 miles round trip). I bought the blue and white color because I've been concerned about other folks being able to notice me at turns & intersections. These gloves are quite visible and I feel better with them. Well-placed padding, good fit, very comfortable.

Totally Fine

This is the first pair of fingerless gloves I've bought. I normally go bare-handed. I bought these on a whim and did a 45 mile and 100 mile ride and have no complaints.

These gloves are comfortable, well constructed, and come at a great value. They're perfect for the mixed XC/DH mountain biking I'll be using them for around Park City.

Soft and pliable material, intermediate padding and durable. A good value, I don't see the need to spend twice as much just to get a different logo.

Great gloves...

I have found these gloves to be very comfortable and have reduced fatigue on long rides. Will purchase another pair when these are worn out.

Comfortable gloves

A very well made, comfortable glove. It could be better without the velcro closure.

Negative Reviews:

Decent Low-End Gloves

Spend more money for better padding material and fabric and the 'easy removal' loops. Not that bad, inexpensive, however, I expected more.
Probably fine for short, smooth rides on bikes with nice grips.

Neutral Reviews:

Meets requirements

I like Giro gloves because they are soft on the skin. This particular model does not have the loops on the middle fingers that make it easy to remove them after a long ride, so it's usually a chore to remove them from my sweaty hands. The padding is OK, but I would prefer denser padding. Because the materials are all synthetic (no leather), they are easy to rinse out/wash and air dry.
