Don’t forget the Giro Women’s Flak Bike Helmet when you’re headed to the dirt jumps. Its burly skate-influenced design takes hit after hit as you work out your tail whip, and the flow-through venting helps keep you cool as you hike up for another lap. Giro added an extra helping of open-cell foam to take some of the impact out of wrecks.

Take no flak with the flak

Rating:****

I dig this helmet. Have had it since fall of '08 and although haven't had the misfortune of testing it's durability, I think it will do just fine. I mountain bike with a mix of trail and road. I like this style over "The Navigator" space ship looking helmets. Vents are adequate. I have a size 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 inch head(as far as fitted hats are concerned) and I bought the Large. After mixing and matching the available foam padding inserts I was able to find a nice, comfy fit. Overall, this is one pretty cool helmet.

giro flak helment

Rating:*****

i got this helment one month ago and its great, very good fit and air flow, the only thing is its big, i would get a smaller size then u normally would cause i had to sent back mine cause it was to big. i have a big melon and the large size was way to big. but other than that it is very nice and looks better than a road bike lid i think, if ur thinking of getting it do it

Giro Bike Helmet

Rating:****

The shipping of the helmet was really fast. I received it in 10 days (I'm overseas). The helmet fits nicely & I received extra padding as well. If you own another Giro helmet than the sizes are appropriate (I also have a snowboarding helmet). The helmet straps are a bit long...but that is my only compliant w/ the helmet. Overall good product & would suggest to friends.

Tougher than your head

Rating:****

This is your basic tough-as-you-want dirt jump helmet. It stands up to repeated crashes and the occasional drop kick pretty well. The liner came out of mine after a punting session, but I glued it back in there and it's been fine since them. I do wish it was a bit more vented, but it does OK even for trail riding.

Really cool. 3 padding sizes for front and back so it fits my small head and my boyfriend's bigger head simply by changing the padding. People have been banging on my head and it really is painless =)

a good fit

Rating:*****

It's hard for me to find any head gear. This one had the right shape. And it is light. If you've a big cranium, this is for you. And it looks cool.

great fit..

Rating:*****

This was my first bike helmet, so I don't have much to compare it to. But, its very comfortable and extremely light-weight. Couldn't be happier...

tough - sick design

Rating:*****

sweet design, not bulky at all! great protection and with two sets of padding, you can really customize the fit.
